Run by an older couple. The sanitary facilities are old (but clean) and the restaurant... well, we didn't try it. There is no shop.
There would be over 100 pitches, 2 pools and a large lawn with football goals and a badminton net. However: 50% of the site is closed, the pools have not been in use for a long time and, as with many things, nothing has been done to the lawns at the back.
Not the right one for just the sii, but as a base (with few demands) it's ok.

The site can apparently be reached via 3 different routes using the satnav. If you like adventurous trips, are confident your camper can handle bumpy roads and have all the cupboards properly locked... you might want to try the shortest route.

Update: Today, when we left the square on the way to La Linea de la Frontera, we drove out of the square and, according to the satnav, turned right. After about 5 minutes we were at a point that we crossed twice yesterday. Yesterday's satnav route took us past here, but only indicated the next turnoff to the right (right into the center of Jimena de la Frontera) as the direction. If we had turned here, we would have found the square after a few minutes. So if you are driving in this direction from Ronda, take the turnoff with the road sign C-3331 / CA-8210 to Ubrique about 1 km before Jimena de la Frontera. Then you will reach the square in about 5 minutes.

Unfortunately, our "Luxe Chalet" was not cleaned properly when we took it over. This was despite the fact that we were not able to check in on time at 3 p.m. because the cleaning team was still at work. The refrigerator was so-so, the freezer drawers were definitely not cleaned. The drawer handles were also sticky and the cutlery drawer was dirty on the inside. There were also cobwebs in various places and there were deposits under the anti-slip mat in the shower. The entrance door was completely warped (plastic - heat) and could only be opened and closed with force. 1 washbasin is leaking, one shower door cannot be closed completely. The site's maintenance team tried their best. Unfortunately, there was not much they could do.

Auf dem ist es ruhig. Der Platz befindet sich oberhalb der Verbindungsstrasse und der Sportanlagen. Der Strassenlärm hört man, je nach Standplatz, sehr gut. Auf dem Teilstück zwischen den grossen Kreiseln finden „Beschleunigungsrennen“ statt. Knallende Auspuffe und röhrende Motoren inklusive.

Platz liegt ca 30-40min ausserhalb Barcelonas in den Hügeln Richtung Vallromanes. Super als Ausgangspunkt um mit dem Bus mitten ins Zentrum gefahren zu werden.
Der Platz selber ist…… speziell.
Geführt von einem älteren Paar. Die Sanitäranlagen in die Jahre gekommen (aber sauber) und das Restaurant….. naja, wir haben es nicht getestet. Shop hat es keinen.
Es hätte über 100Stellplätze, 2Pools und eine grosse Wiese mit Fussballtoren und einem Badminton Netzt. Jedoch: 50% des Platzes geschlossen, Pools schon länger nicht in Betrieb und bei den Wiesen hinten wurde, wie bei vielem, nichts mehr gemacht.
Nur zum sii nicht das Richtige, aber als Basis (mit wenig Ansprüchen) ok.

Der Platz ist jedoch ruhig und ligt wohl an der ehemaligen Partymeile (viele leerstehenden Bars, Discos etc.)

Die «Sanitario» Anlagen sind relativ neu. Alle WC habe eine «Brille», es gibt Papier, Lavabos und Duschen haben heisses Wasser! Eine Wohltat.
Das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Rezeption ist super freundlich. Die Auswahl im Laden ist klein. ACHTUNG: Reservation für Camperplätze nicht möglich. Ob dies für die Bungalow auch gilt wissen wir nicht.

Der Platz ist per Navi anscheinend auf 3 verschiedenen Routen erreichbar. Wer gerne abenteuerliche Fahrten hat, seinem Camper holprige Strassen zutraut und alle Schränke sauber verschlossen hat ..... gerne die kürzeste ausprobieren.
Alle anderen: nehmt die längste Route!
Update: Heute bei der Abfahrt Richtung La Linea de la Frontera sind wir aus dem Platz gefahren und, gemäss Navi, rechts abgebogen. Nach ca. 5min waren wir an einem Punkt den wir gestern 2x gekreuzt haben. Die Naviroute gestern hat uns hier vorbei geführt, jedoch erst die nächste Abzweigung nach rechts (mitten ins Zentrum von Jimena de la Frontera) als Richtung angegeben. Wären wir hier abgebogen hätten wir den Platz nach einigen Minuten gefunden. Wenn Du also von Ronda in diese Richtung fährst, nimm ca. 1km vor Jimena de la Frontera die Abzweigung mit der Strassenbezeichnung C-3331 / CA-8210 nach Ubrique. Dann erreichst Du den Platz innert ca. 5min.

Die Bewohner helfen in allen Bereichen mit und werden dabei Betreut. Einige reinigen die Sanitäranlagen, einige sind auf dem Platz am aufräumen und säubern, einige sind ab und zu an der Reservation und rufen zuständige Personen. Wir sehen das die Betreuenden mit den Bewohnern viel unternehmen, immer wieder fahren die Busse weg oder man sieht alle zusammen auf einem Spaziergang am Strand entlang. Die Stiftung betreibt ebenfalls ein grosses Fussballfeld und 2 Tennisplätze. Diese werden, wie es aussieht, von hauptsächlich Jugendlichen genutzt.

Fr und Sa Abend gab es im, direkt neben dem Campingplatz gelegenen, Monsantos Open Air Lisboa, Livemusik. Ab ca. 16Uhr einrichten, einstimmen etc. danach bis jeweils ca. 23/24Uhr Musik und Party. Uns störte es nicht sehr, vor allem weil man dann auch problemlos schlafen konnte.
Ein Phänomen dass wir schon auf vielen Plätzen sahen: Duschen und WC lassen sich nicht schliessen, da die vorhandenen Schlösser defekt sind (und nicht geflickt werden). Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch sauber. Bei den Männern riecht es stark nach Urin. Duschköpfe sind alt und spritzen das Wasser in alle Richtungen. Preis / Leistung: im Vergleich mit anderen Plätzen, teuer!

Obwohl der Platz direkt an einer Strasse gelegen ist, ist es sehr ruhig.
Der Platz ist gross und steht voller Bäume. Wir konnten uns einen Platz in einem zugewiesenen Sektor aussuchen. Die Sanitäranlagen sehen von aussen alt aus, aber innen sind sie recht neuer gemacht. Sauber ist es auch. Etwas wenig Duschen (2 pro Block), dafür sind sie heiss.

Der Platz liegt an einer gut befahrenen Strasse die auch in der Nacht nicht ruhig ist. Je nach Standplatz der einem zugewiesen (unserer war direkt an der Strasse) wird ist es auch in der Nacht nicht ruhig. Die 2 Sanitäranlagen sind sehr alt und in desolatem Zustand (WC und Duschen lassen sich teilweise nicht schliessen, Boden hat Löcher). Mini Market ist angeschrieben – gibt es nicht mehr. Der Platz für das Grauwasser abzulassen ist nicht angeschrieben (man fragt sich durch) und in sehr schlechtem Zustand. Der ganze Platz wirkt schmuddelig.

Der Platz wird von einer Familie geführt und liegt etwas ausserhalb von León. Im Prinzip ist der Platz ruhig. Bei unserem Aufenthalt hatte es gerade ausserhalb des Platzes viele Hunde (woher etc. wissen wir nicht) die fast andauernd (auch in der Nacht) bellten. Die Sanitäranlagen sind nicht neu aber sauber!

Ein toller Platz. Saubere Sanitäranlagen, Ein Indoor Schwimmbad, einen gut sortierten Mercado und freundliches Personal. Der Platz ist ideal für Wander- und Biketouren! Das W-LAN auf dem Platz hat kaum Datendurchsatz, ausser man sitzt direkt vor der Rezeption. Auch der Datenempfang mit Orange (Datenroaming) hat in unserer Anwesenheit kaum funktioniert.

Der Platz liegt oberhalb von San Sebastián an einer Durchfahrtsstrasse. Leider war auch in der Nacht viel Verkehr und wir hatten einen Stellplatz direkt neben der Strasse. Ebenfalls gab es Neben dem Campingplatz ein Haus mit mehreren Hunden die anhaltend kläfften. Erholsam war es nicht.

Campingplatz ist nicht ideal für Wohnmobile oder grössere Wohnwagen. Das ganze Gelände ist relativ steil am Hang. Es hat nur ein paar wenige Plätze für Wohnmobile oder grössere Wohnwagen. Die meisten freien Plätze sind ideal für Zelte. Der Platz hat viele Clampingzelte und Mobilehomes mit dazugehörigem PP. Die Plätze sind schattig gelegen. Als Ausgangsort um Biarritz zu besuchen ideal.

Obwohl der Platz direkt neben der Strasse liegt ist es sehr ruhig. Super Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen in La Rochelle und Umgebung. Fussgänger- und Velowege sowie Buslinien direkt vor der Türe. Auch der Jachthafen ist Fussläufig kaum 10min weg.
Schade: der Platz gehört der Gemeinde La Rochelle. Das diese bei WC Papier und WC Ringen, praktischen Duschen (Die meisten Sanitäranlagen sind Standartsanitärcontainer wie man es von Festivals kennt) und einem durchgängigen W-LAN (nur bei der Rezeption ist Empfang) spart, finde ich persönlich etwas dürftig.

Der Platz liegt ca. 4km ausserhalb des Zentrum von Nantes. Ein Bus bzw. normalerweise ein Tram fährt direkt vor dem Platz direkt ins Zentrum. Mit dem Velo ca. 20min. Der Platz hat, wie viele hier in Frankreich, viele Mobilehomes zum mieten aber im Vergleich wenig Stellplätze. Diese sind aufgeteilt in Premium (mit eigener Sanitärbox) und Standard. Angegliedert ist «Camping-Car Park» also «nur» Stellplätze.

Ein toller Platz für die Besichtigung von Saint Malo. Mit dem Velo ist man in knapp 30min beim Tourist Office gleich beim St. Vincent Gate der Intras Muros. Dort gibt es Veloparkplätze und auch PP’s für das Auto (unterirdisch). Wir hatte auf dem Camping einen Stellplatz mit eigener Sanitärbox.

Das Clos Colas lädt ein zum «Verweilen, entspannen und geniessen im wunderschön gelegenen Bretteville-sur-Ay in der Normandie»! Wirklich tolle Gastgeber, ein herrlich ruhiger Ort nah am Meer. Und idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

Das Haus liegt ruhig und hat einen kleine Terrasse und man ist in 30min fast überall!

Leider war unser «Luxe Chalet» nicht sauber gereinigt als wir es übernommen haben. Dies obwohl wir nicht pünktlich um 15Uhr einchecken konnte da das Cleaning Team noch an der Arbeit sei. Der Kühlschrank war solala sauber, die TK Schubladen def. nicht gereinigt. Ebenfalls waren die Schubladengriffe klebrig und die Besteckschublade innen schmutzig. Ebenfalls hingen an diversen Orten Spinnweben und unter der Antirutschmatte in der Dusche waren Ablagerungen. Die Eingangstüre war Total verzogen (Kunststoff – Hitze) und liess sich nur mit Gewalt öffnen und schliessen. 1 Lavabo ist undicht, eine Duschtüre lässt sich nicht ganz schliessen. Das Unterhaltsteam des Platzes versuchte sein Bestes. Leider könnte es nicht viel machen.

Alles ist mit dem Auto in ca. 1Std zu erreichen. Leider happerte es bei uns mit der Sauberkeit, bei der Übernahme lauter Spinnweben und leider auch Schimmel.

There would be over 100 pitches, 2 pools and a large lawn with football goals and a badminton net. However: 50% of the site is closed, the pools have not been in use for a long time and, as with many things, nothing has been done to the lawns at the back.
Not the right one for just the sii, but as a base (with few demands) it's ok.

Unfortunately, probably because of the wind, you can hear constant cheering in the background (whether it's coming directly from the beach, i.e. the party mile, or somewhere else is not clear) and unfortunately also a lot of sirens (ambulance and police). That was the case yesterday too and after the picture from the party mile it was clear.
However, the place is quiet and is probably located on the former party mile (many empty bars, discos, etc.)

Unfortunately, probably because of the wind, you can hear constant cheering in the background (whether it's coming directly from the beach, i.e. the party mile, or somewhere else is not clear) and unfortunately also a lot of sirens (ambulance and police). That was the case yesterday too and after the picture from the party mile it was clear.
However, the place is quiet and is probably located on the former party mile (many empty bars, discos, etc.)

Update: Today, when we left the square on the way to La Linea de la Frontera, we drove out of the square and, according to the satnav, turned right. After about 5 minutes we were at a point that we crossed twice yesterday. Yesterday's satnav route took us past here, but only indicated the next turnoff to the right (right into the center of Jimena de la Frontera) as the direction. If we had turned here, we would have found the square after a few minutes. So if you are driving in this direction from Ronda, take the turnoff with the road sign C-3331 / CA-8210 to Ubrique about 1 km before Jimena de la Frontera. Then you will reach the square in about 5 minutes.

I personally find it a bit poor that they skimp on toilet paper and toilet rings, practical showers (most of the sanitary facilities are standard sanitary containers like you see at festivals) and a consistent WiFi connection (there is only reception at the reception).

Unfortunately, our "Luxe Chalet" was not cleaned properly when we took it over. This was despite the fact that we were not able to check in on time at 3 p.m. because the cleaning team was still at work. The refrigerator was so-so, the freezer drawers were definitely not cleaned. The drawer handles were also sticky and the cutlery drawer was dirty on the inside. There were also cobwebs in various places and there were deposits under the anti-slip mat in the shower. The entrance door was completely warped (plastic - heat) and could only be opened and closed with force. 1 washbasin is leaking, one shower door cannot be closed completely. The site's maintenance team tried their best. Unfortunately, there was not much they could do.

zumindest Irland und England sieht ziemlich gehetzt aus...
Mir würde das Kilkenny, der Ring of Kerry und die Wicklow Mountains fehlen.
Habt ihr mal überlegt das evtl zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt als extra Tour zu machen?
Wenn ihr wegen der Rücktour Bedenken habt würde ich evtl die Route umdrehen. Tallinn ist sehr schön und sollte man sich ansehen.

Wir planen aktuell bi ans Nordkapp. Auf Grund des Krieges sehen wir dann weiter wo wir zurückfahren
Wir planen ebenfalls gerade unsere 6-monatige Europareise. wir werden vom 1.4. bis 30.9.2023 unterwegs sein. Wir starten von Österreich und fahren bis Frankreich durch mit einer Übernachtung in Verona. in Menton in Frankreich startet unser Roadtrip, dann geht es die Küste entlang Frankreich, Spanien, Portugal, Nordspanien, Frankreich über die Niederlande nach Dänemark, mit der Fähre von Frederikshaven nach Göteborg weiter nach Oslo, dann 2,5 Monate Norwegen, natürlich mit Nordkap und über Lappland, Estland, Lettland, Finnland und Polen zurück. Ich muss sagen eure Route ist schon ganz schön sportlich 😊.
