Idea: April to the end of September 2024 with the camper through Europe.

Switzerland - France - Spain (coast) Portugal - France (Normandy) - Belgium - Holland - Germany (Hamburg) - Denmark - Sweden - Norway (North Cape) - From here we look at how we return to Switzerland

Update:
On Friday 10/13/23 we went to look at our camper / measure it and test it with the bikes. The landlord is now building rails in the garage, adapted to our bikes including holding arms.
The camper will be taken over on March 28th, 2024. Then, over Easter, we will still be traveling in Switzerland with the camper.
The aim is to get ourselves set up, test it and get on the scales.
Our route will start on April 2nd, 2024. We have adapted these as follows:
Switzerland - France - Spain coast - Portugal - France (Normandy) - Belgium - Holland - Germany - Denmark - Sweden - Norway (North Cape).
In the far north, we will decide how to return based on the time remaining and the political situation. It would be great to return via Finland - St. Petersburg and the east.

The place is about 30-40 minutes outside of Barcelona in the hills towards Vallromanes. Great as a starting point to take the bus into the center.
The place itself is…… special.
Run by an older couple. The sanitary facilities are old (but clean) and the restaurant... well, we didn't try it. There is no shop.
There would be over 100 pitches, 2 pools and a large lawn with football goals and a badminton net. However: 50% of the site is closed, the pools have not been in use for a long time and, as with many things, nothing has been done to the lawns at the back.
Not the right one for just the sii, but as a base (with few demands) it's ok.

Update: Today, when we left the square on the way to La Linea de la Frontera, we drove out of the square and, according to the satnav, turned right. After about 5 minutes we were at a point that we crossed twice yesterday. Yesterday's satnav route took us past here, but only indicated the next turnoff to the right (right into the center of Jimena de la Frontera) as the direction. If we had turned here, we would have found the square after a few minutes. So if you are driving in this direction from Ronda, take the turnoff with the road sign C-3331 / CA-8210 to Ubrique about 1 km before Jimena de la Frontera. Then you will reach the square in about 5 minutes.

On Friday and Saturday evenings there was live music at Monsantos Open Air Lisboa, which is right next to the campsite. From around 4pm, people set up, got in the mood, etc., then music and partying until around 11pm/midnight. It didn't bother us too much, especially because we could then sleep without any problems.
A phenomenon that we have seen at many sites: showers and toilets cannot be closed because the existing locks are broken (and are not being repaired). Sanitary facilities are old, but clean. The men's facilities smell strongly of urine. Shower heads are old and spray water in all directions. Price/performance: compared to other sites, expensive!

The site is on a busy road that is not quiet at night. Depending on the pitch you are assigned (ours was right on the road), it is not quiet at night either. The 2 sanitary facilities are very old and in a poor state (some of the toilets and showers cannot be closed, there are holes in the floor). There is a sign saying there is a mini market - but it no longer exists. The place to drain the grey water is not marked (you have to ask for it) and is in very poor condition. The whole site looks dirty.

Remarks:
Although the site is right next to the road, it is very quiet. A great starting point for sightseeing in La Rochelle and the surrounding area. Pedestrian and cycle paths as well as bus lines are right outside the door. The marina is also just 10 minutes away on foot.
It's a shame: the place belongs to the municipality of La Rochelle. I personally find it a bit poor that they skimp on toilet paper and toilet rings, practical showers (most of the sanitary facilities are standard sanitary containers like you see at festivals) and a consistent WiFi connection (there is only reception at the reception).

A great place for sightseeing in Saint Malo. It takes just 30 minutes by bike to get to the tourist office right next to the St. Vincent Gate of the Intras Muros. Unfortunately, our "Luxe Chalet" was not cleaned properly when we took it over. This was despite the fact that we were not able to check in on time at 3 p.m. because the cleaning team was still at work. The refrigerator was so-so, the freezer drawers were definitely not cleaned. The drawer handles were also sticky and the cutlery drawer was dirty on the inside. There were also cobwebs in various places and there were deposits under the anti-slip mat in the shower. The entrance door was completely warped (plastic - heat) and could only be opened and closed with force. 1 washbasin is leaking, one shower door cannot be closed completely. The site's maintenance team tried their best. Unfortunately, there was not much they could do.

A great place in the middle of nature.
