Bavarian Corona Field Goal Tour 2020

At 2.30 p.m. we picked up our rental Chausson 514 and - after checking the usual transfer points - brought it home to be “filled”.
At 7 p.m. we collected our little one (6) and the Corona Field Goal Tour 2020 started! ?

The first highlight was the Elbe tunnel ... not the tunnel itself, but the announcement that seemed to come from a horror film: “Warning! This is where the police speak - please leave the blocked lane! ”- Briefly checked the lane and luckily they didn't mean us ... but the pulse stayed a little faster until we left the tunnel.

Picnic / Unseburg pitch:
Park4Night showed us a picnic area with a view over a lake. Seen ... imagined how we had breakfast in the morning with the view ... drove there.
And it was a good choice. From 6.30 a.m. you could hear the vehicles on the road, but the look made up for it. "

We got the tip to make a stop here and take a few discounts with us, unfortunately the shopping experience is not so recommendable due to Corona. Long lines in front of the shops and the percentages weren't overwhelming. The trick of cooking noodles in between in the car park in the RV and going back to the popular shops shortly before closing time was not just our idea, but a deodorant from Rituals will lift the mood in a tight space ?

Everything you need with the camper
Fresh water 1 € / 100l, gray water and toilet disposal problem-free and clean for free.
Power connections are also there.

We paid € 20 for the night.

However, the cows are a drawback ?
It hums and rings all night ...

Prices are € 5 adults,
and € 5.50 with a child up to 7 years on your lap.

Very fun activity for the kids. You are hooked into the lift and then pulled up. At the top you are automatically unhooked and off you go ...

For 3 € you can still take your photo with you.

The view is priceless ... everyone should stop here.
The corona-related line in front of the door looked long, but the waiting time was still limited ...

And when we said we were from Hamburg and would like to see the mountains, a special place was recommended to us.

All pitches have a power connection. There is fresh water, gray water drainage, toilet disposal and toilets & showers.

And as the icing on the cake: Finally W-LAN for free! So that the football evening came to an end with the Redzone ?

Nice ambience, delicious food, nice and fast service!

In the parking lot of the Watzmann Therme there are many signs that camping is prohibited. We had read about Park4Night that it is tolerated if you behave well and are a guest at the thermal baths. Since we were surprised by a snowstorm on the way to the original parking space, we had to reschedule at short notice.

We stayed overnight and had no problems. The tip was to put the thermal bath receipt in the window ...

The sauna was closed due to the corona, but the swimming pool with slide, the brine and the outdoor pool with alpine panorama were open. We spent 5h there. A face mask is only mandatory when entering and in the restaurant.
The restaurant, which is integrated in the large part of the swimming pool, has a good selection (classics such as French fries etc. but also baked potatoes, salad ...) We had a white sausage with a pretzel ?

Only briefly refueled on the way to the farm ... a small secret route past the airport, but a terrific panorama ??☀️

We were greeted by a kitten, calves and nice camping neighbors.
The kids, who had already spent one night there, explained everything to us ...

I rang the doorbell at the owners to register us - it wouldn't have been necessary - everything was uncomplicated with the payment: Simply choose a place, connect the electricity and pay in the farm shop in the morning. On request there is the possibility to order fresh bread in advance.

Do not be irritated by the bridge with 3m clearance, turn left first, past the cow stalls ... ?

DANGER! At the parking spaces there is a long rail track where trains run on it from time to time. It was quiet until 6.30 a.m. and the trains were never very long or particularly loud, but clearly noticeable as a noise.

We paid € 12.50 for one night, including fresh water, gray water drainage, toilet emptying, electricity and bread rolls.

Very nice parking space in front of the mountain panorama on the Weßner Hof.

We were given a warm welcome.
Corona is taken seriously here, everything is clean and signposted and face masks are worn.

The parking space costs € 10 including electricity and waste disposal. There are no drainage or refill options here. But you can use the hotel's toilet.

The food in the hotel was very tasty and recommended.

There are donkeys, chickens, cows and a nice playground on the farm.

We got a seat spontaneously, it was quiet, and everything was there.

However, € 5 for 24h W-LAN can only be used with one device (or € 1 / h). And pitch fees plus fees per person. For one night € 26 + € 5 WiFi.
It was too expensive for us in terms of price-performance ratio. Everything was getting on in years and only plausible due to the proximity to the park ...
Was a comfortable, expensive variant that you can do better with a different plan ...

Nice chargeable parking space with a view of the mountains and the lake. Unfortunately, we were only there around 11pm and only got a peripheral space without electricity. Otherwise everything is there what you need for supply and disposal.

A registration is not required. In the morning at 8.30 a nice lady came to the cashier. We paid ~ 11 € for the night. According to Park4Night, this comes around twice a day.

We only briefly disposed of gray water and the toilet, but it seems to be a quiet pitch. Water and disposal available!

Salzhausen was very cute to look at. Small cafes and beautiful houses as well as the large grocery chains for supply. If we didn't live around the corner, we could have imagined a stop here.

At home!

Our first joint tour with three people in the Leih-Chausson is done. A complete success for an autumn tour, during the holiday season and under corona conditions!
