I rang the doorbell at the owners to register us - it wouldn't have been necessary - everything was uncomplicated with the payment: Simply choose a place, connect the electricity and pay in the farm shop in the morning. On request there is the possibility to order fresh bread in advance.

DANGER! At the parking spaces there is a long rail track where trains run on it from time to time. It was quiet until 6.30 a.m. and the trains were never very long or particularly loud, but clearly noticeable as a noise.

Nice chargeable parking space with a view of the mountains and the lake. Unfortunately, we were only there around 11pm and only got a peripheral space without electricity. Otherwise everything is there what you need for supply and disposal.
A registration is not required. In the morning at 8.30 a nice lady came to the cashier. We paid ~ 11 € for the night. According to Park4Night, this comes around twice a day.

Salzhausen was very cute to look at. Small cafes and beautiful houses as well as the large grocery chains for supply. If we didn't live around the corner, we could have imagined a stop here.
