A forest children's playground is located nearby and numerous, very well signposted cycling and hiking trails invite you to explore the wooded low mountain landscape.
The following restaurants and shops are available:
Hardbergklause (approx. 100 m), Buddhas Weg teahouse (400 m), bakery, Café Jäger (800 m), Morgenstern guesthouse (1.1 km), and Netto supermarket in Abtsteinach (1.3 km). A pharmacy, savings bank, and other restaurants can also be found in Abtsteinach (1.5-1.6 km).
Attractive leisure activities such as the forest swimming pool in Wald-Michelbach (2.6 km), the summer toboggan run and climbing forest (2.8 km) and the solar railcar Überwaldbahn (6.8 km) attract visitors.
