In the Odenwald village of Hammelbach, located at an elevation of 430 meters, the municipality offers a parking space on the outskirts of the village. The parking space is located near the forest and the sports field and is the starting point for one of the numerous, well-signposted cycling and hiking trails.

The following restaurants and shops are available:
Sports bar with restaurant (approx. 50 m) as well as bakery, pharmacy, bank, restaurants in the town center (approx. 1 km).

Attractive leisure activities such as the outdoor swimming pool (Hammelbach 1.1 km), mini golf course (Wahlen, 4.5 km), summer toboggan run and climbing forest (Wald-Michelbach 13.4 km), solar railcar Überwaldbahn (11.3 km) invite you to visit and delight not only the young guests.

Please note: Dogs must be kept on a leash and in the vehicle at night on this site!
There is also a general ban on open fires on the campsite.
