Swimming and leisure opportunities are available nearby at Lake Igelsbach (approx. 6 km), Lake Brombach (approx. 9 km) or Lake Altmühl (approx. 14 km).
Highly recommended are hikes to the "Schnittlinger Loch," the Hop Museum in Spalt, and the many culinary offerings in the region. Shopping opportunities are available in Spalt and Gunzenhausen.
From the end of June and into July, you can also pick your own cherries in our cherry orchard, and in the autumn we sell apples and pears directly from the farm.
Through applied permaculture and an "edible forest garden," as well as a collection of heirloom, rare, and exotic fruit and vegetable varieties, we aim to create an edible landscape suitable for our grandchildren. We use all income from overnight stays to make this place even more beautiful and natural, and to plant (fruit) trees.
We welcome guests who appreciate nature and peace.
