We are centrally located between the towns of Straubing, Cham and Viechtach, on the edge of the Bavarian Forest above the village of Stallwang, whose village square is about a 5-minute walk away.
At the village square you will find a bakery with a small Edeka supermarket, a pharmacy, a household goods store, a bus stop, a restaurant serving good local cuisine and more.
As already mentioned, our small farm is located slightly elevated above the edge of town with a beautiful view on the southern slope of the Gallnerberg. Since we only have two alpacas and cats, it's also very quiet. Centrally located yet secluded. Dogs are always welcome.
After a hike of approximately 30-45 minutes, you'll reach our local mountain, which, depending on the weather, offers a view of the Alps. Our farm is located directly on the Goldsteig hiking trail, and there are also small circular hiking trails and a castle ruin to explore.
The parking space itself is located under the former stable on a path paved with grass grid stones, which is easily accessible from the street.
A fire pit with a rotating grate invites you to barbecue. Wood is, of course, included. Fires are only permitted in the designated area and under supervision. Guests can use the Wi-Fi in the garden and in front of the house.
In addition to the toilet, there is also an outdoor shower with hot water.
We offer up to three parking spaces on our farm at the same time (approximately 30 meters apart). If you are traveling with multiple vehicles, please contact us in advance.
Please note that quiet hours begin at 10 p.m. If you have children, please be aware that we are located on a mountain and surrounded by steep slopes.
