The nature campsite is surrounded by trees and is secluded on the outskirts of Bad Mergentheim. The campsite is quiet, approximately 2.7 hectares in size and flat (280 m above sea level), yet very centrally located. With the wildlife park as its immediate neighbor, Markelsheim with its historic wine culture as a neighboring town, the Romantic Road, and the international spa town of Bad Mergentheim itself (approx. 2.5 km away), the campsite is an ideal starting point for excursions in the Tauber Valley. After extensive renovations in 2020, there are now 120 pitches and five overnight accommodation options in the form of a mobile home, a living barrel, an apartment, or a holiday home. The pitches, some of which are 10 m x 8 m, also accommodate larger and longer motorhomes. Likewise, new lines for internet, TV, and fresh water were laid across the entire site at the beginning of 2021. The site offers two sanitary buildings, an adventure playground for children, a beer garden, a small kiosk, and a covered lounge with a TV. Electricity costs per night: 3 euros
