A wide range of summer activities awaits you in the idyllic community of Scharnitz on the Seefeld plateau, about 25 km from Innsbruck and 100 km from Munich. The Karwendel Alpine Park, the largest nature reserve in the Northern Limestone Alps, and the Seefeld Olympic region offer countless leisure and sports opportunities. Experience the Alpine Park while hiking, cycling or kayaking along the wild and romantic upper Isar. The cross-country ski runs in the Olympic region can be reached on foot in two minutes. In 2009, the 266 km of perfectly groomed trails achieved first place in the ADAC cross-country skiing area test.
