Celine recently travelled from Croatia to Greece in a SUNLIGHT T 67 Adventure Edition. In her travelogue, she tells us about her experiences, her warm encounters and the breathtaking landscapes. 🚐☀
Travelogue
Our first stop was on the beautiful island of Krk at Camping Omisalj. The facilities were excellent and provided us with a great base for our further adventures. This was by far the best quality campsite!

From Krk, we made our way to the island of Pag. We spent the night there at Auto Camping Pere in Dinjiska. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the peace and nature.

One day later, we moved to Camping Drazia, where we also had a fantastic time.

Our journey took us on to Split, where we chose the Autocamp as our next stop. The surroundings were breathtaking and we used the time to explore the trails on our MTBs.

On the way to Albania, we travelled through Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro. The roads in Bosnia were not as good as elsewhere, but otherwise all the roads were in very good condition.

In northern Albania, we finally reached Lepushe, close to the border with Montenegro. Our stay at Bujtina Lepushe was a real highlight of our trip. Despite the constant rain, it was wonderful for biking and fortunately with 4 people in the camper there was enough space for us all.

Our journey took us on to Peshkopi and to the border with North Macedonia. There we found a great campsite that we can highly recommend. This family did our laundry and cooked for us. The hospitality in Albania is truly beautiful!

Our last campsite in Albania was in Saranda, just before the border with Greece. Camping Ecuador was overcrowded with Austrians and Germans, which made our stay less than cosy.

Our journey ended in Greece, in Igoumenitsa. There we found an ideal end to our tour at Camping Drepano. Location of the campsite right by the sea.

The ferry crossing with Grimaldi from Igoumenitsa to Brindisi took about 8 hours and from Brindisi we took the motorway back to Austria.
It was an unforgettable journey full of impressive landscapes, interesting encounters and great experiences.
