This is our 1st trip with the WoMo - so we are absolute beginners.
The trip lasts from 09.09. - 09/17/2022.
As a rental mobile home we get a Forster A 699 EB (alcove).
Our trip should be a good mix of self-sufficient pitches, campsites and pitches with infrastructure. We stay in Switzerland.
The first 3 nights are planned - after that we plan where to go depending on the weather.

Hl. Blutkapelle am Passwang
For a fee of CHF 20.00, which you can deposit in the chapel (offering), you have a flat, tarred, permitted and beautiful pitch for one night. It has toilets and running water, but no electricity.
At night the place is very quiet - during the day the parking space is on a relatively busy road.
The view is very nice.
Please keep the place clean - it's a matter of honor.
Gotthardpass
The pass can be climbed with a WoMo without any problems. The streets are wide everywhere.
Once at the top, there are umpteen pitches in an impressive mountain landscape.
It can get cold in the evening - but an evening walk is impressive. For dinner, a fondue or raclette and the experience is wonderful.
But it also has great restaurants on the pass.
There is no infrastructure - so it has to be self-sufficient.

Alles was man braucht und direkt am See
This campsite was completely full when we visited.
Infrastructure is absolutely okay. You can easily travel to Lugano by train. Or if you have a bike with you - like us - you can go to Melide.
Our pitch was in the 2nd row to the lake. Absolutely great. From my point of view even better than the 1st row, because everyone goes through there.
For me, 2 days were enough - because then you saw it.
Super campsite for a stopover in Italy or back in Switzerland.

Toller Campingplatz - aber...
From Camping Monte Generoso we drove to Graubünden via the San Bernardino Pass.
The Julier Pass is beautiful - we recommend a stop at the top of the pass. The panorama is great.
From there it is about 30 minutes to the Morteratsch campsite, which is named after the glacier of the same name.
Check-in is uncomplicated, the infrastructure is absolutely up to date. Toilets, showers etc. leave nothing to be desired.
The shop also has a great range - if you have forgotten something, you will definitely find it in the shop.
The restaurant also looks appetizing and it has a food truck that delivers food on certain days. We didn't try the restaurant as we went to eat in Pontresina.
Parking space:
It has beautiful pitches - but also impractical ones. We were lucky - place 101 was great.
If you have the opportunity, you should take a map on site and look at the free places on site. So you can choose a suitable one.
We recommend a bicycle tour from the campsite to St. Moritz. About 30 minutes - but everything is wonderfully signposted and a nice route.
