We start our journey on September 15, 2022 in the direction of Fehmarn. Ahead of us are about 463 km. Overnight on CP and tomorrow with the ferry to Rodby/DK.

After 369 km arrival at 14:00 in sunshine and strong winds. The place is very well maintained, as are the sanitary facilities. The cost for an overnight stay is €31 for Womo, 2 people including electricity and warning shower.
Now we will visit the snack bar on the square and after a small dinner we will spend the evening before going to the ferry tomorrow.

In cloudy weather we wait for the ferry to Rodby DK. Arrived safely in Rödby with some swell. If the weather is changeable, the journey continues in the direction of Helsingör.

Helsingör/DK

First Camp Helsingborg/Schweden.

After the crossing, the CP Raa Vallar Helsingborg was approached to spend the night. The place was well attended, as the Swedes also use the weekend.
Costs for WoMo incl. 2 people, electricity, shower and visitor's tax approx. €31.20.

Änderung der Route.

Due to a medical condition we spent the morning at Lasarett Helsingborg. This eliminated the trip to Trollhättan, as the locks open at 3:00 p.m. And that only from Wednesday to Sunday. We then decided to drive to Ahus-Kristianstad. The course is located on the Baltic Sea under many pine trees. With 5 service houses it is no small place. The pitch costs 310 SEK per mobile home, 2 people, electricity, hot shower and tourist tax.
The sanitary facilities are a bit old but clean and well maintained.

The day starts sunny. So it goes with the bike in the place. Approx. 3 km to the town centre. Then a small ascent and descent to get to the sights.
These are e.g. B. The Fredrikskirche (image 1), the Naval Museum (images 3 and 4), the Aurora Bastion (image 2) or the Kungshall Bastion (image 5).

Besuch in Kalmar

In bright sunshine we are picked up by my brother from the CP to Kalmar. But it goes back over the bridge to the mainland.
Today was shopping day. Elk fillet and reindeer fillet. It's not that easy to get from us. You holiday fund must bleed sometimes.
For this we drive tomorrow over the bridge to Kalmar Castle.
Pictures 2 and 3 are of bathing areas in Kalmarsund, which have been created by the municipality and are free for visitors. There are a total of 6 such free bathing spots in and around Kalmar.

Einkaufstag in Kalmar

Weather not so sunny today. Shopping for a barbecue party is the order of the day. Before that to Kalmar Castle. We passed the WoMo parking space at the guest harbor/tourist office. However, it was also well documented. However, there were still vacancies. This pitch is ideal for sightseeing in Kalmar. According to the description, electricity and showers are also available there after registration at the tourist office.
Striking points are the water towers, the cathedral and the castle. There is another free bathing area right next to the castle.

Today we are going to Fjärdingsmåla to visit the niece for 3 days.
Due to Corona we saw each other for the last time in 2019.
The camper fits perfectly on the property.

Camping Strukkamphuk

After what felt like 24 hours of rain, we took the ferry to Fehmarn. There are occasional rain breaks. At the campsite we decided to park in front of the barrier. The parking space costs around €24.50 including fresh water, electricity and use of the sanitary facilities.
The sanitary facilities appear to be relatively new. Very well maintained and super clean.
The "Wind und Wasser" restaurant is well frequented and has an adequate menu. The prices are reasonable.
Finally, a look at the Fehmarnsund, covered with rain clouds.
