As every year, we are drawn to Lake Garda at Easter, this year we are in Bardolino over the Easter weekend. Since we like to drive short distances, we split the journey and make stops in Innsbruck and Meran.

Innsbruck
We start our Easter tour in Neu-Ulm. Our first stop is Innsbruck.
Our goal there this year was the camper place at the Innrain. We have been there many times, but this time was definitely the last time. On the one hand, the price has been increased to 22 euros, which I find quite expensive without the existing mobile home infrastructure. What then happened to us was very outrageous. Presumably due to a defect, only the receipt came out of the parking ticket machine, but no parking ticket. We didn't think anything of it, since we had the receipt and proof on our account (EC payment). The next morning, a very unfriendly lady checked us and, despite the evidence, issued us a 35.00 euro ticket and accused us of having given the original parking ticket to another parker, completely absurd! So be careful, otherwise parking will be expensive. We'll try next time at the swimming pool in Innsbruck.
Otherwise Innsbruck was very nice again. For dinner we went to the "sitzwohl" we've been there many times, it's always very tasty and definitely recommendable.

Meran, Italien
We spend our second day of vacation in Meran, at the Live Merano campsite in Piavestrasse. The campsite is very centrally located and has absolutely great washrooms, all designed like private bathrooms.
From there you can easily reach the center and the thermal baths on foot.
We had dinner in the "Kallmünz", a very nice restaurant with a beautiful inner courtyard, upscale, very tasty cuisine.

Camping La Rocca, Italien
We spend the Easter weekend at the La Rocca campsite, located exactly between Garda and Bardolino. Both places are easy to reach after a walk along the lake (Bardolino 1.5 km, Garda 1 km).
Here the season has just started and is already experiencing its high point with the Easter weekend. It is very difficult to find a parking space at the lake without a reservation.
From the site it is only a few meters to the lake, unfortunately it is still too cold for swimming or SUP. Going for walks, bike tours, or strolling through the town and enjoying the spring weather also puts you in a good mood.
