We, the Kenkel family, have been living in the old manor house since 2006. It was built in 1938 by Miss Paula Rath as a farmhouse for the Dammerstorf estate and sold in 1942 to the aircraft builder Ernst Heinkel as a hunting lodge. The farm was used after 1945 as a refugee shelter and later as a construction yard of a road and civil engineering company from which we then acquired it.Our 2ha large farm is located on the L19 between Bad Sülze and Sanitz, about 20km east of Rostock and 30km from the Baltic Sea in the middle of a 600ha large mixed forest. There, where fox and hare say good night to each other or even three big deer roam through and some red and wild boar have their territory behind the property, the forest invites you to take a walk. We provide the pitches on one of our mowed sunny pony pastures with the possibility of electricity and water. The next gas station (fresh rolls) and a small mixed and flower store (with meat counter) is in Dettmannsdorf-Kölzow, 3 km away, and in Sanitz, 8 km away, there is everything for the daily needs.
