We are a multi-generational and shared farm in the north of Schleswig-Holstein. Our pitch is located directly next to former horse stables (water/electricity available) with a view of the old 1h large paddock (wonderful sunsets). We want to gradually develop this in the sense of permaculture (meadow orchard, biotope, etc.). There is direct access to the site from the road, which is hardly used. Although it is now overgrown with grass, it is paved underneath because it was originally used as a paddock – so you can’t get stuck in muddy weather. ;)Our farm is only a few kilometres from the Baltic Sea. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to the nearest beaches. The beautiful harbour town of Kappeln is also only 10 minutes away by car, with numerous shopping facilities. In Gelting (5 minutes by car) you will find everything you need to live. Flensburg and the Danish border are about 40-60 minutes away by car 🛒 Just like Eckernförde and Kiel. It’s also worth taking a day trip inland and to the North Sea. We are surrounded by numerous beautiful beaches, including many nature and dog beaches, as well as the Geltinger Birk nature reserve. There are now even wild horses there again. Within a radius of 5 to 10 minutes by car, there are opportunities for horseback riding (rides to the beach), surfing school, bicycle rental, etc.. We are in the process of creating a place of encounter in harmony with nature. We eat a vegan / vegetarian / organic diet and grow our own vegetables. We want to gradually transform the farm into a blooming paradise and thus also make it more attractive for visitors from year to year. :)There is also room for 2 to 3 buses / tents if you want to come with family or friends. Please inform / enquire in advance, the extra charge can then be paid on site. Water, electricity and the use of our compost toilet and shower house are included. Dogs are free of charge and allowed, as we already have two bitches and children living here, it would only be nice if your four-legged friend is tolerable. :)!!! Important info: We have built a compost toilet in the spirit of permaculture. This can be used by all visitors. Directly next to it is a shower house. Unfortunately, the shower water does not get really warm from October onwards. Therefore, it is not possible to have a really warm shower from this time on. In November we turn off the water until March. From then on, only the unheated compost toilet can be used. Please arrive and depart between 9am and 10pm. 🙂 No waste water disposal. Rubbish will be separated and please collect dog excrement. We are looking forward to seeing you. 🙂
