Our meadow is situated on the edge of a 900-year-old heath village between two houses. The meadow is about 30 metres wide and about 60 metres long. Apart from a vegetable patch on the left-hand side, there is nothing but a beautiful view out into the fields. The soil is sandy and covered with grass, well, more like moss and herbs. But relatively short, because the horses mow the grass regularly. The pitch is always dry, even when it rains. It is also passable with heavy equipment. Our village is in the middle of nature, no major road nearby. Directly at the village exits you go/drive/ride into the landscape conservation area or the nature reserve. The heath areas of the Lüneburg Heath can be reached by bike in 10 minutes or on foot in 30 minutes. All around there are hiking trails, heath marshes, forests, heathland.
