Paid parking space for 40 mobile homes in the local recreation area, at the foot of the water tower that can be seen from afar. Level, graveled ground, illuminated at night. Information board with flyers. Can be used all year round, can be used for a maximum of three nights at a time. Coins required for electricity and water. Reservation not possible. The central location of the motorhome parking space at the water tower invites you to easily reachable destinations. Within ten minutes you can walk to the city center of Kehl as well as to the garden of the two banks, the Franco-German natural recreation park on both sides of the Rhine. On the Rhine promenade you can watch passing ships or enjoy the sunsets over Strasbourg. From here the path leads directly into the Rhine floodplain forest and to the nature discovery trail, on which the floodplain landscape and its inhabitants are presented in an entertaining way. By bike, tours in the villages are possible on a total of 120 kilometers of cycle and farm roads. All routes are almost free of inclines. The heated outdoor pool, which will also be back in operation this season, is located right next to the motorhome parking space. With the tram line D it is only a few minutes travel time - for example from the stops Rathaus or Bahnhof - to the center of Strasbourg; change is not necessary. An information board and several city maps on the motorhome parking lot help the campers to find their way around.
