If you like to camp with sound, sheep and an eco-conscious mindset, head to the southwest of France and discover the eight and a half charming acres of La Jaurie. This small country campground is run by Marcel and Madelinde whose passion and enthusiasm for the land inspires a camping experience centered on nature and good food grown on site. Located on a hill overlooking forests and along a small river, La Jaurie has a beautiful collection of old buildings and barns. The campsite is bordered by beehives, our vegetable gardens and a nut orchard. Chickens roam around, as does Woef the dog, not to mention Pasta, Pietje and Rhino, the resident cats. There are also two friendly donkeys to meet, so be sure to save a carrot or two.
