Large listed half-timbered farmstead with 11 different building parts. The farm has been in family ownership since 1399.From 1744 the present buildings were built. The main house, barns, stables and the gatehouse enclose the inner courtyard, also called Vaohlt in Artland. The gable of the main house projects three times and bears inscriptions from biblical quotations, as well as the reference to the builder and the master builder. The farmstead also includes two granaries, a bakehouse and a farmhouse, which is now used as a retirement home. Since 1995 the buildings have been converted. The farm store, the café and restaurant in the bakery and the festival hall were gradually built. Today we spoil our guests with delicious homemade cakes as well as regional and seasonal delicacies from our “seasonal kitchen”. In the warm season you can enjoy our delicacies under mighty, over 200 year old oaks, beeches, lime trees, golden elms and chestnuts on one of the cozy places directly in front of the bakehouse and let your soul dangle.
