Le Bivouac de l'Eygues is a site where you can rediscover the art of camping, the real camping, where you can reconnect with nature and share moments of conviviality. You can spend your holidays here with your family, your friends, your partner or, like the great adventurer that you are, on your own. At any time of day, you can immerse yourself in a moment of meditation, letting your senses marvel at the scent of thyme, olive and fig trees. Your eyes will be enchanted by the mountainous landscape, the colour of the river and the magnificent deciduous trees in this department, which has been named the "Organic" department. You'll stroll along the banks of the river, bathing in clear water, sometimes green, sometimes azure blue. The sun is always out and when the elements are unleashed, it's almost a festival, an incredible spectacle. The air you breathe is pure, and the song of the cicadas will accompany your wake-up calls, your walks and set the pace for the day. If you're a keen two-wheeler, you'll have the pleasure of discovering the winding roads, and so as not to overload you, we'll always have accommodation available for you. If you're a keen cyclist or walker, you'll enjoy a peaceful stroll along the roadside, on the other side of the river, where you'll discover miles of little-travelled roads in the heart of nature, and for the more experienced, the hilltop villages are magnificent stopping-off points, often with a spring-water fountain to cool you down. Young and old alike will have the chance to try their hand at the performing arts, thanks to our open stages where talented performers can be revealed. The bar/restaurant will bring the day to a close, and as the sun sets over the valley, another life, that of lively evenings, will take place in a warm, artistic atmosphere. You'll also have the chance to sample the region's wines, olives, jams, oil and sun-drenched dishes, all from small-scale local and organic producers. We are Aline and Jérémy, welcome to our Bivouac de l'Eygues campsite, a place where you can reconnect with nature in the land of lavender, olive trees by the river and surrounded by mountains.
