Our pütthaus is a semi-detached house built of quarry stones and is about 250 years old. The name is due to the former own well (Pütt: well). Surrounded by a garden with farm flowers, nut and fruit trees, the pütthaus is situated in quite a lonely location in a slightly hilly landscape between fields, small woods and meadows. Directly across the street, our horses run in a pasture bordered by a small, clear, leisurely babbling brook. In the nearest larger village Ankum (about 2.5 km) there is not only the highest village church tower in Germany, but also the Ankumer See, a large modernized cinema, 2 shopping centers, a variety of (experience) gastronomy and much more…
