Our estate is located in beautiful East Westphalia on the edge of the Weserbergland in a quiet village near Brakel. Our farmstead is located right next to Gehrden Castle and belongs to the former monastery complex (in 1142). The history of the estate starts from Hildegard von Bingen to Jerome“ the King of Westphalia (brother of Napoleon) (1800 century). Until today we use the old walls and our cattle live in the old manor. On our farm there is a pigeon tower (1700 century), where we run a small shop with regional (art products) since 2020.On our farm, you will find the necessary peace, get distance from everyday life, experience agriculture up close and life with animals. On our farm you will find chickens (daily fresh free-range eggs), goats that may be fed, horses, calves, cattle, dogs, cats, donkeys. All what you want for a visit to the farm coupled with a unique story in idyllic tranquility.We look forward to seeing you.
