It is a closed Artland farm with main house and several outbuildings. The farm was first mentioned in a document in 1480 and has been owned by the family since that time. Extensive renovations were carried out between 1986 and 2001 and these were honored in 2002 with an award from the Lower Saxony Savings Bank Foundation. In the last years a small but fine riding pony breeding has been established on the farm.
